How can I buy lift tickets online?

Visit SkiDiscovery and click on "Tickets & Passes", then "Day Tickets" or "Half Day" (or "Open Day" if you are unsure of the date you will be skiing).  Click the date on the calendar you wish to ski. Be sure to click the correct day of the month as the calendar begins on a Monday.  Then add the number of adult, children and senior tickets you wish to purchase. If this is your first visit you will then create an account.

Click "Go To Checkout". Then click on "Buy a New RFID card" if this is your first visit. A new RFID card will cost $5. Be sure to buy a new RFID card for each person buying a ticket and assign their name to each card.

If you already have a RFID card click "Register a New RFID card from SkiData to My Account". Add the number located on the back of your RFID card and assign a name to the card. This number will save on your online account for future use. 

Once you have completed payment you will receive a confirmation email from SkiDiscovery. This email will contain a square QR Code. Print or save this QR Code on your phone for easy access. Once you arrive at the resort visit the kiosks located in front of main ticket office. Scan the QR Code and it will print new RFID cards for each ticket you purchased. 

If you reloaded a RFID card at home you can skip the ticket office and go directly to the slopes!  

May I buy several lift tickets in one transaction?

Yes! You can purchase as many adult, child and senior tickets online as you wish in a single transaction. Each person will receive their own RFID card.  Be advised that if you purchase multiple tickets or for multiple days, all tickets listed on the order will print at the kiosk at the same time.

Do I need an existing RFID card?

No. The first time you purchase lift tickets online you will choose  "Buy a New RFID Keycard". It will cost $5 to purchase a new card.  Once you arrive at the resort visit the kiosks located in the front of the main ticket office and scan the QR Code that you received in your confirmation email.  Save this RFID card for future reloading. 

How do I rent ski/snowboard equipment or book lessons?

All equipment rentals and lessons MUST be booked online at SkiDiscovery.com. You will have to create an account. 

You can rent ski and snowboard equipment, including helmets from Discovery for any age person. Simply visit SkiDiscovery.com and click on "Rentals". You can choose to rent equipment for the day or for the season. You can also rent demo ski equipment. Rental packages do not include a lift ticket so be sure purchase a lift ticket as well. Once you choose the date and type of equipment you wish to rent add it to your cart. You will ask you for the height and boot size of the person renting upon checkout. Boot sizes will be the same as regular shoe size. Once you complete your purchase you will receive a confirmation email from us that will contain a barcode. Print or save that barcode on your phone for easy access. Once you arrive at the resort you will bring that barcode to our rental department. You can rent equipment online anytime, however only rentals reserved by at least 12pm the day prior to arrival are guaranteed to be ready first thing in the morning. Rentals booked after 12pm day before, are set in the order in which the reservation was received, and might require some wait time morning of. 

To book lessons simply click the "Lessons" tab. You can choose  ski and/or snowboard lessons depending on age. You may also choose private lessons. Package lessons will include a lift ticket so be sure to click the option to add a lift ticket for $0.00 while booking your lesson. If you choose a lesson that does not include a lift ticket be sure to also purchase a lift ticket.

If you are unable to click on a specific day and time on the website that means that lessons are full for that day and time. 

Kinderski/Board lessons will meet in the Kinderski room located in the main building in the picnic area. Group lessons for skiers and riders 7+ and all private lessons meet on the slopes next to the bunny chair, at the large orange sign that reads "Ski School Meeting Place".

Plan to arrive with enough time to get geared up ad able to start your lesson at your selected time slot. 

What is the difference between an RFID and a ticket?

Paper tickets are the old way to ski. RFID cards are the new improved way. An RFID card is a plastic card that you put in your pocket. Our scanners at the lift will read the card through your clothes and automatically open the gate each time. RFID Keycards can also be reloaded at home so you can skip the ticket office and head straight to the slopes! 

Where do I find the RFID card number?

The number is located on the back of your RFID card. Type in that number in order to reload your card. Once you key in the number it will automatically be saved on your SkiDiscovery online account for future use. 

I left my RFID card at home

Visit the ticket office and we will get you out on the slopes.     Replacement cards are a $5 charge.

How many days in advance do I need to purchase a lift ticket to save money?

None! You can always save money purchasing online- even the morning of! 

Do I have to choose a specific date?

Yes. Choose the specific date on the calendar that you wish to ski on. If you are unsure it is best to purchase an "Open Day Ticket".  Be sure to choose the correct day of the month as the calendar set up is Monday-Sunday. 

Do I have to go to the ticket office first?

No. If you purchased lift tickets online and reloaded a RFID card you can skip the ticket office and head straight to the slopes! 

If you purchased lift tickets online and need to pick up a new RFID card you can bring the square QR Code that you received in your confirmation email to the kiosks located in front of the main ticket office and your new RFID cards will print out for you there.
