FAQ

I’m new to mountain biking, can I handle this?

Disco Bike Park is a flow style course with optional features like walls, bridges, jumps and drops, but the rider can always choose to keep their tires on the ground. We are a perfect park to elevate your downhill skills if you are lacking experience.

If you are new to mountain biking completely than it would be better to amp up the saddle time on cross-country style trails first.

What if I don’t own a full suspension MTB or helmet?

No worries, we offer a fleet of rental bikes featuring acclaimed Transition Patrol in frame sizes Medium thru X-Large; We also rent full-face helmets. Rentals must be booked online, there is no option to reserve in person.

What equipment do I need to bring?

We recommend a full-suspension bike with disc breaks. You must wear closed toe shoes, and MTB style helmet; full face isn’t required but recommended. Gloves, pads, guards are optional.

Receipt and confirmation?

You will receive a e-mail receipt to the address you used in your purchase

Do I have to ride the lifts?

Absolutely not, if you would rather grind up the mountain before you descend you can access all the trails for just $8. You can also purchase a single ride for only $16 if you’re just not sure that downhill is your thing.

Are kids allowed to ride at Disco Bike Park?

For sure! Kids ages 7 and up are encouraged to check us out and start feeling connected with their bike. Helmets as always are required. We have also recently added a pump course near our park base area that is ideal for the little kiddos learning to ride, Strider and pedal-free friendly!

What hours are you open?

Disco MTB Park is planning to open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm beginning Mid May thru Mid October (weather dependent); Discovery Bike Park will be closed for the entire month of August(8/1-8/31) for scheduled maintenance and re-open with regular hours again Sept 1.

Do I need to pack food and H2O?

Yes! We are pretty rustic, please provide your own snacks and water. We do have a porta-potty though

Is there an option to camp at Disco MTB?

We don’t allow camping overnight at Disco Bike Park, however there are plenty of options to camp at USFS campgrounds near Georgetown Lake, just minutes away.

Do I have to go to the ticketoffice first?
